Sirs,
We have bee’s that have a nest in the ground under a flower plant. How should we handle this? I want to get rid of them without getting bitten.
Thank you for any help or ideas you can give us.
In most cases you can treat nests after dark without risk of being stung. However, it is always best to wear a BEE SUIT just to be sure.
Since you know where the nest is located and it sounds as though it’s accessible, we always recommend drenching them with CYPERMETHRIN for quick and easy control. Nests usually die in 1-2 days; if you still have activity after 3 days drench it again. Use it at the rate of 1 oz per gallon of water and be sure to pour the whole mixture down their entrance hole for rapid control.
