Hey Mike! I HAVE ZERO SPRINGTAILS! [knock on wood] YOU ARE MY HERO! I was going to email you, but I wanted to wait a few more days–just so I wouldn’t jinx it (ha, ha).
The pest control company will be due to come out again in early October (they come every 3 months). Should I let them come then or will it interfere with all your products that have been applied?
I know you said not to cover up the access holes so they can be used again a few more times. Once you’ve had springtails are they likely to show up again at some point?
I can’t thank you enough! It is such a relief not to see them. You’re the best!
Springtails will many times take a long time to develop so it’s not uncommon for a few seasons to pass before you know you’ve reduced their population to a tolerable. Clearly the first sign of this is a reduced amount of activity which you are now experiencing. This is good.
Now the key will be to stay on top of the treatment routine I outlined for you. Your regular pest control treatments should do nothing but help so don’t interrupt them or their scheduled service. And since areas which have had springtails once will many times get them again, I strongly recommend that you treat on a regular basis with the SPRINGTAIL CONTROL PRODUCTS. Regular applications will surely prevent them from taking over again and you should be able to live “springtail free”!
